A Robot’s Tale has been authored, edited, and released to advanced (beta) readers. Their marvelous feedback has come in and we are feverishly updating the manuscript for first publishing this spring.
Abstract
Bigsby is an innovative, fun-loving AI Companion robot from WhyRobot, Inc. Robbie is an eight-year-old boy living in a troubled home. Bigsby steps out of its box and into Robbie’s life at his eighth birthday party. The two bond and become inseparable, singing, dancing, and watching robot movies together.
Robbie’s Uncle Charlie worries about his nephew’s safety. He configures Bigsby to spy on Robbie’s home life, but the robot learns more than Charlie intended. Robbie and his mother are in danger, so Bigsby’s AI engine kicks into high gear to save them both. Bigsby puts its strategy into action to protect Robbie and expose the family’s crimes to the authorities. Can one small robot be the hero?
