A Robot’s Tale – Crypto Case is in concept development.
Abstract
Robot Bigsby and Robbie have grown together for four years since Robbie received Bigsby on his eighth birthday. WhyRobot’s companion robots like Bigsby are now in production and thousands have been sold to children and adults alike. The robot world has transformed as a new standard of robot AI and human interaction has been established. Rusty, one of Bigsby’s developers from WhyRobot, became Bigsby’s configuration operator after the difficult time in Robbie’s life when he was eight years old. Rusty has married Robbie’s mom, Kathy, and adopted Robbie as his sone. This has transform Robbie’s household into a safe and fun-loving family environment.
The Seattle Police Department has called upon Rusty and Bigsby to help on several mysterious cases involving robots and AI. A series of new cases where companion robots have gone missing and others start behaving strangely without any obvious cause. Bigsby, Rusty, and the WhyRobot team step in to solve this mysterious development in the robot world. WhyRobot’s image is on the line and people are frustrated that these once fun-loving and helpful robots have changed. The situation worsens when Bigsby itself begins to show signs of mis-behavior. Can the team solve the case before Bigsby is too far gone?
