BotWorld was born from a prophecy spoken over Kris Konigsfeld in early 2000’s. This prophecy was very simple, “The Lord will deliver you a blueprint for your ministry.” That very night the Kris woke to a download of ideas and visions for what BotWorld could become. The first book was written in early 2000’s but was not published. Upon Kris’ gradual retirement from Intel Corporation starting in 2016, he has renewed the vision and purpose in making BotWorld’s mission a reality.
Mission
BotWorld will help humans understand and grow closer to the Creator through the allegory of human’s relationship to robots.
Testimony
Kris Konigsfeld was born in Lombard, Illinois in 1962. The youngest of four children, Kris was highly influenced by growing up in the 60’s with older siblings and a culture of rebellion and independence. Kris always excelled at school, especially in science and math, and eventually went to University of Illinois to achieve his Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering. Kris skied and played football, baseball, tennis, racquet ball, and basketball as a kid, but his love for football kept him playing through high school. Kris loved to ride and work on on mini-bikes, dirt bikes, pedal bikes, and cars. Kris explored many aspects of life, including experimenting and using drugs and alcohol at a young age. Before going to U of I, Kris attended a Christian retreat called The Happening, supported by the Catholic Church. Although Kris grew up in the Methodist Church, The Happening opened his eyes to a new relationship with God and started a more personal faith journey. During this journey in college, Kris received a confirmation from God about his mission to become an Engineer. This message, “To create as an engineer is to worship the Lord and be about the Father’s business,” inspired Kris to continue and excel in his engineering carrier. Kris married his high school sweet heart, Patty, and has two beautiful children and one grandchild. Kris worked for Intel Corporation for 35 years as a design engineer, CAD developer, project manager, and computer architect. Kris and Patty have been deeply involved in their local church Rock Creek Church in Portland, OR. They also have reached out in global ministry through Good Samaritan Ministries headquartered in Beaverton, OR that also has centers in over 35 countries. The mission of BotWorld inspires Kris to integrate his technical knowledge and innovators heart with his deep relationship with God.
