BotWorld – Origins is the first of a multiple book series telling the story of a professor and his grad students establishing an ecosystem of highly sophisticated robots. The book was initially authored in early 2000’s but was never published. Its currently in rewrite to modernize it and get it ready for public comment.

Abstract
Professor Tully and his grad students have a vision to transform the interactions between humans and robots. Powered by Professor Tully’s new neural building block, the neurite, the team has created two new robot’s, affectionately named Adam and Eve. The team is dedicated to demonstrating robots with true free will. Professor Tully and a few of his students have philosophical disagreements on the meaning of free will. This spirals into a fundamental change in Adam and Eve and forces Tully to make hard choices. BotWorld – Origins explores these difficult choices and lets the reader experience the world of intelligent design and the joy and consequences of the designer’s choices.
